Adventures in Writing: Rehousing Previous Posts
Oops, I apologize for future emails of posts I’m moving from Sisters in Smut.
Sadly, I’ve made the choice to not renew the Sisters in Smut domain. We haven’t been using it often enough to keep it up and running.
I’ve let the others know that I plan to let the domain name go in May. This will give everyone plenty of time to move their posts to their own domains or other platforms if they wish to do so.
I’m not sure how to disable emails going out when I move my posts over. So, I apologize now about sending emails of posts you’ve possibly already read. I’ll do it slowly so as not to bombard everyone as well.
While a great idea to bring together a group of like-minded people when it comes to writing and reading erotica and erotic romance, sex-positive content, and sexuality articles, the website has fallen out of use.
These things happen. We’ll always be the Sisters in Smut and we aren’t the only ones out there. Many people are smut writers. Not all smut writers are women. There’s a diverse group who enjoy writing smut for all kinds of readers.
I highly recommend looking for smut that helps empower you. If you can’t find it in the wild, perhaps you have it inside you to write it.
Don’t be afraid of reading or writing erotica or romance. It’s not going to turn you into an insatiable nymph unable to function. Most likely, it’ll help you safely experience sexual escapades that you aren’t ready to try or interested in trying at all.
Many people learn new ways of touching themselves and their partners in consensual and pleasurable ways from reading erotica. People can learn what they want in a relationship from reading romance*.
*obviously this is subject to the kind of romance the reader likes because people who read dark taboo romance usually enjoy reading it for the little rush they get reading dark taboo romance.
With the various levels of steam in erotica and romance, there really is something out there for everyone. Yes, even you.
