Patreon Peek: New – A Revelry Island Mini
The Maintenance Men and Revelry Ranch stories all circulate around and on Revelry Island. In order to get to know more about the island in my imagination, I’m going to work on micro stories for the employees who work (and possibly live) there.
These stories will be 500 words or less and will offer a sneak peek into the off-hours of the employees in various roles. In writing these micro stories, I hope to give these characters, the types that are only around for a few paragraphs, their own space and agency to grow and make readers wonder what else they’re doing outside the main story.
One of the goals in writing the novels is to create a place full of life and wonder about people readers would love to meet and places they’d feel excited to visit. I hope you’ll come along for the ride and offer thoughts and feedback – insight is always welcome.
